Club Red: Leadership Retreat is a 3-day camp sponsored by the American Red Cross, Santa Barbara County Chapter. High school students are given the opportunity to grow, develop and mature by learning to work in groups, developing valuable life skills, challenging themselves, discovering the value of helping others, making new friends and having fun!
Delegates come from all walks of life, representing diverse cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds. This camp embraces these differences and similarities amongst the delegates and creates an environment with understanding, communication and tolerance. Club Red strengthens the individual enabling them to recognize their talents, skills and potential. Delegates also learn necessary leadership skills enabling them to make positive changes in their communities.

The purpose of the scholarship program is to make camp experiences
available to high school students whose families/guardians could not
otherwise afford to send them to camp. We make every effort to expend
financial assistance for our camp and to provide as many students as
possible the opportunity of a camp experience. This is a CONFIDENTIAL process! The number of scholarships awarded
will depend on the need of the applicants and the number of applications
received. Scholarship Applications are due July 1.
