1. Safe Kids Day!
   Safe Kids Day is on Saturday, April 25. We need your help to teach 1st - 6th graders and their families how to be Red Cross prepared.
2. Betcha Didn't know!
   Congratulations Seniors! You're almost finished! Don't leave your Red Cross Club in shambles. Hold some Elections!
3. Lompoc High School Puts on 3rd Annual Talent Show
   In true "Rocking Red Cross" fashion, the Red Cross Club of Lompoc High School is once again preparing for our third annual "Red Cross Benefit Talent Show," with the donations going to provide relief for local victims of house fires and other disasters.
4. Give Blood
   Ernest Righetti High School's Red Cross Club recently hosted the school's fi rst on-campus Blood Drive.
5. Change is Good!
   In our first project of the semester, the UCSB Club organized a change drive to benefit the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
6. Wanted: Club Red Counselors!
   Now accepting applications for counselors for the Club Red Retreat next fall.

   The time to pass the Rocking Red Cross Co-Editor torch is creeping up.

9. A Bright Idea
   Rashi Singh has embarked on a project to help after-school programs.
10. Small But Mighty
    As small as the Santa Ynez Valley may be, and as small as the high school is, one would assume that there would be a lack of participation and enthusiasm in a club.

    The theme of National Volunteer Week 2009 is "Celebrating People in Action."
